Ski Time

It's that time of year when we're rushing to get the kids ready to go skiing. You know, the night before. The usual seen occurs. All the older kids equipment gets handed down the the next one. This year Olive is the official owner of a very cool ski helmet. Bye-bye bike helmet.

She knows she looks good!

Azure made it out to the local ski hill (Sandia Peak) for a time or two. By the end of the icey day, all four of us (Bjorn, Azure, Olive, me) made it to the top of the hill. We skied down, but it was kind of epic, so we don't have any photos. That's the difference between a real photographer and me, when the shit hits the fan, the real photographer comes home with the goods. For me, I just made it home with the kids, good enough.

Olive is like any other kid out there. The hot coco is way more important than the white stuff. They don't care how long it takes to get to the resort, how many days you have to take off work, nor how much you paid, uh-no...It's the coco.

Olive grew into those skis and she's improved some. Mostly, she just looks good.

Then COVID-19 hit and the slopes shut down. WA-WA-Wa-wa.
