Praying to Saint Margie, time to get my thinking hat on. How do I want to paint this thing. After some time looking on-line I came around to a bold front dart, incorporating three colors.
Trying to get all the lines, taper and transitions figured out.
I know what you're thinking. "It's the side of the boat, so what?" I'll tell you what, trying to figure out the tapering lines to accommodate the shape of the boat with three colors had me kind of frazzled. But it turned out.
Taped some paper on and slid the carbon paper underneath to transfer the font.
I experimented on a couple ways of getting the font down. This worked out ok.
The rough texture made it difficult to keep sharp lines.
She looks so good, I can't tell which is her good side.
